Our wonderful hostess for November, Lindalee (aka tatterpuss), gave us the challenge to create a Christmas card with one catch -- no red and no green. So, I went with purple because it's one of Lindalee's favorite colors.
The layout is from the Nov/Dec Papercrafts magazine and as soon as I saw it on the cover, I knew I wanted to use it. And the dear Catherine helped me choose the beautiful shimmery background DP at our last Archiver's meet. It's gorgeous IRL and looks like a frosted window or swirling snow!

It worked great and I got the shadow I wanted, but now my concern is did they hold up during mailing??? I really hope so and I really hope that Lindalee likes them!
I'd love to say "Come back tomorrow for another card", but I know me too well. LOL Besides, this is my Holidays Here I Come Weekend. I took vacation for Monday and Tuesday, so between 5:00 AM Saturday and 11:59 PM Tuesday, I WILL put up the tree, decorate the house, and bake, bake, bake!!!
But I DO know I'll definitely have a post on Wednesday for the KitCat Card Club for the festive kit from Catherine! Normally, we would be posting this Sunday, but we kittens are a little busy, so we gave ourselves purrrrr-mission to wait a few extra days to post.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Creating!

This is soooo elegant and I love the use of the purple for a Christmas card. Did you know that is the newest Christmas color trend this year? I think I remember that layout. Was it the one with the snowman? Can't wait to see the KitCat cards
OMGosh! You are totally cracking me up with the "purrrr-mission"!
This card is totally gorgeous and sooooo elegant looking! Is it too much to hope that you made yourself an extra so I can drool over it IRL next weekend????
Seriously loving the colors and you are a girl genius with how you attached the snowflake! I'm definitely going to need a lesson on that!
