The KitCats Are Back!

The KitCats are back for another season! Yippee!

Jeanette was our hostess for September, and she must have felt that we kittens needed to brush up on our ABCs after our summer break, because sent all of us back to school with a super-cute school-themed kit!

She included great Bo Bunny papers, Martha Stewart ribbon, some cute embellies, and Betty and Spencer Bookworms from Stamping Bella. I decided to feature Betty because, well, she could be me in fourth grade with those ponytails and those glasses... only I was chubbier. And *gulp* ... I used a whopping 24 Copic colors on her! Someone stop me, please.

Jeanette also included pages torn from old dictionaries. They give such a nostalgic, old-school (pun intended!) feel to the card. And I love how the three colors on the MS ombre ribbon fade into each other. So pretty!

I had great fun creating this card, and I'll definitely be showcasing Spencer soon. Very soon. ;-)

Be sure to visit the other KitCats to see what they did with Jeanette's kit:

It's my turn to hostess for October. Hmm, wonder what I have up my sleeve?

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Oh, Susan... what a cute CUTE card! I love all the fun you've put into it. Awesome coloring, my friend... all those Copics make for a gorgeous finished image! And I love the way you folded down the corner of the dictionary page, tucking that perfect Imagine ever so slightly under the edge.

Amazingly adorable in EVERY way!

Hugs!!!

Totally awesome, chica! I love the coloring on this! I hear ya on the marker usage. I put aside all the markers I used on a recent project - yikes! But the effect is gorgeous! Love the layout and how you used all your embellies. (You're sending this to me to help me study, right? LOL!)
Super cute, Susan!

Awwww, Susan! You've got a beauty of a card going on here! I love the way you folded down the dictionary page and clipped it, and I love that you found a way to work in the full length of that wonderful MS ribbon. 24 Copics!?! Holy cow!!! You go, girl!!! The Imagine sentiment is perfect with this, as is every single detail you've put in to this amazing card! Beautiful, beautiful work!

Ohhhhhh tres chic! It looks like a mini-Susan! :) I know you were equally darling as a wee one because you are a total sweetie now! I love the look of your card - fabulous! I had the blue clip in the same spot originally on my folded down page then took it back off - it looked too busy on mine but yours is just perfection! Yikes on the copics! LOL! Wonderful kit this month - you're just wonderful!! x0x0
