I had *a lot* of fun making these and really like the way they turned out! I used SCS sketch challenge SC165 for the layout, and the floral DP made it easy to pick the other colors. The Ruby Red panel was embossed using the Floral Screen folder, and I just love the green patterned DP. I think they are palm fronds, but regardless, I think it worked really well with this card. The teacup was colored with Prismas & baby oil, then cut and popped on dimensionals. I added dark brown dots to the scalloped Nestie mats, and sponged the image and sentiment panels with Old Olive.

This was Tanja's first time hostessing a swap, and with over 70 swappers, I can't imagine what it will look like when she gets down to the business of swapping them out!
This has been a long week for me, for no particular reason, and I am so glad it's Friday! It seems like the early spring germs are flying around everywhere. Three of my co-workers are really sick, and now my hubby has come down with what appears to be the flu. Being around all of these germs certainly must have turned me into a giant incubator. Ewww, the thought makes me unhappy. The daughter is away for the weekend, so maybe she will stay healthy. Question is, will I? I have been freezing for the past 5 hours and not feeling quite right -- not sick, just not right. Hopefully, it's just from being overtired. I'll just keep drinking my OJ, washing my hands, and popping the extra Vitamin C.
Tomorrow, I'll post one of my music cards for Paola's swap. Card #1 was a cinch; Card #2 was a challenge. Hope you're healthy and warm in your corner of the world!
Happy Creating!
Susan

This card is stunning, Susan. Truly, stunning. I can't believe you went to all that effort for the tea bag but it paid off because it's amazing. I love the pictures you took too. I really hope I get one of these!
Susan, I love your card. You sure put a lot of creativity into the details... and your efforts resulted in a FANTASTIC card!
What a beautiful card! I need to use my bug more - I have the folders, just haven't put them to work. I adore the tea bag - it's the perfect touch!
Have I told you yet how much I love this card? Everytime I look at it I see something else. This time around it is the cuttlebugged bg perfectly matches the dp... awesome!!!
Oh, Susan! I hope you're not getting sick! We're feeling alright here, but under a winter storm warning. Rain is starting to turn to ice! Isn't it almost April?
Your card is fabulous! I love your creative touch with the tea bag, and those colors are gorgeous together!
This is just absolutely gorgeous! Look at all the detail work that went into this. Susan you really are just amazing.
