KitCat Club & Create4Fun Challenge

Hidey Ho Neighbors! It's the first Sunday of the month and that means it's time for another KitCat card!

The marvelous Michelle was our hostess and she asked each of us to pick a holiday for our kit. Of course, I chose Christmas and was *so* excited when I opened my kit and found some *sa-weet* Sugar Nellie Manga Girls and all sorts of goodies: DPs and snowflakes and trim, oh my!

The Manga Girl was so much fun to color up with Copics, and this week's Create4Fun Challenge #44 layout was *perfect* to feature the die-cut snowflakes Michelle included. I dressed 'em up with some white gel pen dots, and it's hard to see, but they're at 3 different heights of dimensionals too. The holly berry DP and embossed snowflake panel (that I sponged with Ruby Red) are really festive, and, *ooooo* isn't this crocheted trim just yummy?

Be sure to visit the other Kittens to see what they've created with their kits!

Michelle, thanks for such a great kit---I *loved* making this card! And I have even more DP and a different Manga girl left, so I think another Christmas card will be in the works this week.

Pssssst . . . . Before you go, I have to share a secret: this card almost did not come to be, for I misplaced my images and was in a panic for 3 days until I found them. {rolling eyes at self} Organization is good, as long as you can remember where you put things!

Thanks for visiting and Happy Creating!
Susan

Okay, seriously drooling over this one, Susan! You totally rocked out the sketch, and your coloring looks wonderful! Love how you "snowed up" the flakes and the buttons are perfectly paired with them! Great idea to add some color to the embossed snowflake panel.
I'm LOLing that so many of us colored our Manga girls to look like ourselves. Seriously - I'm looking at the card and your blog photo side by side and it is so cute!
Awesome, amazing & fantabulous job, my friend!

Omgoodness, Susan, I'm totally in love with this card! Your elements all work together so perfectly. That paper and those snowflakes and the way you have her perched on the edge of the nestie and the ribbon and the buttons...and EVERYTHING. I love it! And I love what all of you girls have done with this kit. Thanks for inspiring me!
